EMDR

EMDR is mainly used to process distressing memories and is considered to be one of the most efficient methods of treating psychological trauma.

EMDR has proved to be efficient in a significant number of studies.

Therapy process

After a preparation phase, the EMDR-treatment is administered based on a visual-confrontational perception of the distressing experiences and memories. At the same time, bilateral changing sensory stimuli (eye movement or tapping) are induced, which help to process and integrate the traumatic experiences.
